Located in the very southern section of the county near St. Petersburg Beach giving access to the shipping channel, Egmont Key and the South Shore of Tampa Bay. I fish as far south as Anna Maria and Longboat Key.
The Little Manatee River is a forgotten section of Tampa Bay with small bays and islands where Redfish and Snook patrol the shallows. This fishery is excellent in the winter months as the water clears and sight fishing opportunities abound.
Clearwater Beach, Indian Rocks Beach, Dunedin, Ozona, Tarpon Springs offers pristine grass flats and convenient access to all the northern and central parts of the county
Weedon Island, Gandy and Safety Harbor are considered Upper Tampa Bay and are excellent Redfish sight fishing locales during the cooler months when the water is clear.
